BandCheck open data — council tax statistics for England & Wales
A free, openly-licensed feed of aggregate council tax data. Read-only, CORS-open and rate-limited, with an OGL attribution line in every payload.
Every endpoint below returns aggregate area-level data — never a specific property's band (that
per-address check lives only in the on-site checker). Tabular endpoints also
serve CSV: append ?format=csv and drop the URL straight into Datawrapper, Flourish or
Excel. GET https://api.bandcheck.co.uk/data returns a self-describing index. See
how each figure is derived.
